Royal Arsenal

The Royal Arsenal site occupies 36 hectares of riverside land. The former munitions site, where up to 120,000 people once worked, will, on full completion, see over 5,000 new homes built, alongside new parks, squares, leisure & retail facilities and 450,000sqft of light industrial employment space.
Construction commenced in 2001 and will continue until 2030. Over 3,500 homes have been built to date, 23 listed buildings have been renovated, 1,300 jobs created and over 500 trees planted. A range of community facilities have been developed including a new cross-rail station, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, pharmacy, dentist, health centre and nursery.
Kidbrooke Village

The redevelopment of Kidbrooke Village began in the early 2010s, with the aim of replacing the aging Ferrier Estate with a new, vibrant community. The project was designed to include a mix of residential units, commercial spaces, and public amenities. Kidbrooke Village is located in one of London’s most sought-after areas, the Royal Borough of Greenwich (London Zone 3). John Anderson, our Chairman, has dedicated over 30 years to the field of mixed-use residential regeneration.
His impactful leadership at Berkeley Homes (East Thames) Limited led to the successful redevelopment of the Ferrier Estate into Kidbrooke Village, along with other key projects like Royal Arsenal Riverside and Plumstead West Thamesmead.
These efforts have created thousands of affordable homes for the London community. As chairperson of Platform Housing, he brings a wealth of experience in negotiation, budgeting, and strategic planning.
